Shuckers Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
The Biloxi Shuckers did just enough to sneak past the Tacoma Fur Traders, 2-1, at The Pizza Oven. Biloxi pitcher Stephen McQueen earned player of the game honors. Biloxi reliever Stephen McQueen was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Moises Casabuena took the loss for Tacoma. The Shuckers, at 18-15, have now won 4 straight.
Biloxi took a 2-1 lead on Habib Othman's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Tacoma pitcher Moises Casabuena in the bottom of the seventh.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Othman said.
