Humpbacks Win Another One
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 26-year old center fielder Roberto Baca, the Alaskan Humpbacks stopped the Sacramento Redlegs, 8-2. Stanford McCain picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-1. He struck out 3 in 7.2 innings. The 6th-place Redlegs have lost 4 straight games.

In the bottom of the first, Roberts Hamhock hit a 3-run home run for Alaskan. The 18th home run of the season for the Alaskan third baseman put the Humpbacks on top, 3-0.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Baca told the Alaskan Bulletin.
