Nobles Win Slugfest, 13-11
|
Baton Rouge second baseman John Clark had a good game, even if his team did not. The Brass dropped a 13-11 decision to Bakersfield at Brass Field. Clark was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Ramón Ramírez earned his 1st save in 1 tries. The Brass, at 26-25, have lost 4 straight games.
Rocky Moran helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Bakersfield a 2-0 lead.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Bakersfield manager Zach King.
