Tritons Stymie Forest City, Take 2-1 Win

Fans who came to Jersey City Grounds watched the Jersey City Tritons and the Forest City Warriors fight to the finish.
The Forest City Warriors got a superb performance from pitcher Hsiao-lou Lei. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Jersey City. The Tritons won the game, 2-1. In spite of the loss, Lei was named the player of the game. He threw 8 innings allowing 2 runs. Jersey City reliever Ken Fulton Jr. picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Hsiao-lou Lei was saddled with the loss. Mal Houser picked up the save for Jersey City, his 1st of the year.
Jersey City took a 2-1 lead on Omar Krutsinger's 47th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Krutsinger hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Forest City pitcher Hsiao-lou Lei shaking his head.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Krutsinger told the Jersey City News.
Even with the win, the Tritons have a dismal 16-31 record.
