It was a fun time at Rapiers Ballpark, where the Providence Pilgrims and St. Petersburg Thunder tangled.
The St. Petersburg Thunder trumped the Providence Pilgrims, 6-3, at Rapiers Ballpark. St. Petersburg designated hitter António Hierro was named player of the game for his performance. He was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Bhagavan Antle, who threw 69 pitches over 6 innings. The left-hander was charged with 1 run on 3 hits. Gabriel Leeds earned the save for St. Petersburg, his 4th of the year.
