Atlantic City pitcher Jay Newton gave the Saboteurs all they could handle, but in the end, Toledo left Toledo Backyard Park with a 6-4 win. Newton allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings. Toledo goes to 11-10, Atlantic City to 18-3.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Toledo trailing 4-3, Doug Pollock jumped on a 1-1 fastball from Fernando Mora for a 3-run home run, sending the Saboteurs to a walk-off win.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Pollock told reporters after the game.
