Losing Streak Continues for Starks with 8-4 Loss to Brass
Behind a solid performance from shortstop Arturo Cicerón, the Baton Rouge Brass defeated the Syracuse Starks, 8-4. Cicerón was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Brass. Juichi Kanno, the winner, improved to 2-0. He held the Starks to 4 earned runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 0.
