Fur Traders Edge Past Farmers, 3-2

Lancaster got a terrific performance from pitcher Josuke Okumura, but it wasn't enough to beat the Tacoma Fur Traders. Tacoma won the Ballpark of Tacoma contest, 3-2. Okumura was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 8 innings of 6-hit ball. Tacoma reliever Ricky Mina picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-3. Josuke Okumura was collared with the loss. The Fur Traders, with only their 4th win in 17 games, have not had much to write home about in 2042.
Jaako Haavisto was the walk-off hero for Tacoma. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fur Traders center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"Both teams played hard," said Tacoma manager Elliott Taylor.
