Great Day for Enríques in Nobles Win
The Bakersfield Nobles beat the Sacramento Redlegs, 11-5, at Jerome Grounds. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman César Enríques, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 6. Bakersfield reliever Jacob Swanson picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Gustavo Molina was saddled with the loss. Picking up the save was Ryan Fry, his 1st.

Enríques came through for the Nobles in the bottom of the second inning. With Bakersfield leading 2-1, the third baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-1, Bakersfield.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Enríques told the Bakersfield News.

The second-place Nobles raised their record to 24-12.
