Nobles Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Bakersfield Nobles defeated the Sacramento Redlegs, 7-4, at Jerome Grounds today. Leading the charge for Bakersfield was right fielder Roldão Cintra. He went 1-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win was Wilson Rangel's in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Ze-min Li took the loss for Sacramento. Bakersfield is now 23-12.

A key moment came when Cintra faced Sacramento hurler Ze-min Li in the bottom of the seventh. The Nobles, who were trailing 4-3, had runners on 2nd and 3rd. Cintra got a 1-0 cutter and reached on an error by the SS, driving in 2 runs.

"We've got a great group of guys," Cintra said, "and we're having fun right now."
