Redlegs Beat Nobles in 10
|
The Redlegs grabbed a win, 2-1, at Jerome Grounds, overcoming a fine effort from Bakersfield pitcher Elton Coalan. Coalan went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. Sacramento reliever José Valdéz picked up the win to move to 4-0. Jing-xiang Lingxin suffered the loss. At 18-16, Sacramento is in 5th place in the Premier AAA.
Sacramento used the bat of Myeong-keun Kim to capture the win. The third baseman jacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Redlegs ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a dandy.
