Rocks Shut Out Disaster
Plymouth Rocks starter Alberto Álvarez was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Port Royal Disaster, 7-0. The Disaster fall to 6-12 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2042 season.

The Rocks grabbed the lead in the top of the eighth. With two out, Curt Taylor, the 24th overall pick in the 2032 draft, hit a 3-run home run off Maurice Hilliard, putting Plymouth in front, 7-0. For Taylor, it was his 2nd home run of the season.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Álvarez told reporters after the game.
