The Lancaster Farmers dealt the Casper Ghosts a 6-5 loss at The Graveyard. Nick O'Quigley was the star on offense. He went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Tony De Jesús, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 1-0. Casey Ball earned his 2nd save in 2 tries.
O'Quigley put Lancaster up, 4-0, when he hit a 3-run home run off Bryan Workman in the top of the second. His 2nd home run of the season helped the Farmers capture the win.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Lancaster manager Dylan Smith.
The loss lowers the Casper record to 3-2.
