It was a good time at Sacramento Sanitation Station, where fans came to watch the Alaskan Humpbacks and Sacramento Redlegs get after it.
The Sacramento Redlegs powered past the Alaskan Humpbacks, 8-3, at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Chico Custardoi was 4-4 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs, to lead the charge. The loss lowers the Alaskan record to 6-1.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the fifth, with the game tied, Lautaro Lacasa was at the plate when Sacramento scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Redlegs to go in front, 3-2.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Custardoi told the Sacramento Daily.
