The Barton Springs Blues defeated the Minnesota Loons, 9-2, at Blues Field. Barton Springs catcher George Towns was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. Miguel Ávila, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher.
