The Nolensville Knights relied on the hitting of left fielder Dale Goodman to stop the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 7-3. For the game, Goodman was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Ken French was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. Sioux Falls has now lost 4 consecutive games.
Goodman came through with some timely hitting for Nolensville. With the score 3-1 in the top of the fourth and two down, Goodman hit a first pitch changeup for a bases-clearing double. His 17th double of the season made it 6-1, Nolensville.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Goodman told the Nolensville Observer.
