The Portland Evergreens eked out a 6-5 win versus the Buffalo White Walkers at Beyond the Wall. Nobody did more than pitcher Zaki Fakhiri, who captured player of the game honors. After today's action, Portland sits at 18-18, while Buffalo falls to 24-12.

Olo Iukekini made an early impact for Portland when he stroked his 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came with two out in the top of the third, put the Evergreens on top, 6-0.

In postgame comments to the Portland Citizen, Iukekini said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
