The Dogfish Head got a fine performance from first baseman Colton Pennington, who captured player of the game honors. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Javier Guillén earned the win for Milton. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 8-2. Pennington contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Milton in the top of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Pennington took a fastball from Elliot Rickard and stroked the home run to left. His 24th home run of the season allowed the Dogfish Head to leap in front, 3-2.
