White Walkers Bang Out 10-4 Win Versus Portland
Benefiting from Tom Smythe's productive game, the Buffalo White Walkers downed the Portland Evergreens, 10-4. Smythe went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the White Walkers. Kent Good picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed no earned runs on 2 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 1-1. Buffalo is now 24-11, 2½ games up in the Premier League.

Smythe put Buffalo up, 9-0, when he hit a 3-run home run off Ron Mingo in the bottom of the fourth. His 7th home run of the season helped the White Walkers capture the win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Smythe. "And not try to do too much."
