Loss Extends Nolensville Losing Streak
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz and Nolensville Knights played an exciting game at Spirits Stadium.
Salt Lake City rode a decent outing from starter Masao Myoga to victory over the Nolensville Knights at Spirits Stadium. The final score was 4-2. In 7 innings, Myoga surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Corbin Holling closed it out for his 11th save.
Falco Opsteegh went 1-2 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs for Salt Lake City. In the bottom of the fourth, with the teams deadlocked, 1-1, Opsteegh delivered for the Buzz. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Salt Lake City on top, 2-1.
"Masao is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Salt Lake City manager Greg Keys.
Nolensville's current losing streak has reached 8 games.
