Ellenburg right fielder Javier Castro had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-7, to Sioux Falls at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Castro went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times. Sioux Falls reliever José Puente picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tomás Alfonso was saddled with the loss. At 36-31, the Red Pandas are currently 4th in the Menard's AAA.

Sioux Falls used the bat of Shou-xin Quian to capture the win. The pinch hitter jacked a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Red Pandas ahead, 8-5. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
