Nuyten Lifts Buzz to 6-4 Triumph
Salt Lake City designated hitter Vinnie Nuyten was a significant contributor in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Sunset District Fog. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Salt Lake City. John Núñes picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Nick Joseph was tagged with the loss. Salt Lake City, at 22-18, occupies 6th place in the Menard's AAA.

Nuyten had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 2-2 splitter from Nick Joseph, he banged a bases-clearing double to left-center, giving the Buzz a 6-3 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Nuyten.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Salt Lake City manager Greg Keys.
