Flyers Win at Athletic Club KC, 4-1

The Pennsauken Flyers topped the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 4-1, in M3L Triple A action at KC Reserve Stadium. The player of the game was Pennsauken pitcher and Nacogdoches, Texas native Ken Richmond. Richmond, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 1 earned run. Jeffery Clayton closed the door for Pennsauken, picking up his 4th save of the year.
The Flyers ran into trouble in the bottom of the first. The score was 2-1, Pennsauken, with one out. Athletic Club KC, with runners on 1st and 2nd, had Michael Evershed at the plate.
