The Sioux Falls Red Pandas defeated the Monongahela Monsters, 7-5, at Timber Hawks Ballpark. Sioux Falls right fielder Bharti Mona was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Sioux Falls reliever Júlio Rodríguez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Joel Baxter took the loss. The win moves Sioux Falls to a record of 11-6.

Sioux Falls took a 7-5 lead on Mona's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Joel Baxter in the top of the seventh, propelled Sioux Falls to the win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Mona told the Sioux Falls News.
