Red Pandas Prevail, 2-1, Over Athletic Club KC

The Sioux Falls Red Pandas did just enough to sneak past the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 2-1, at The Bamboo Forest. Sioux Falls pitcher Adrik Mihalushkin earned player of the game honors. Mihalushkin, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 1 walk. With their winning streak at 5, the Red Pandas have raced to a strong start this season.
The Red Pandas took the lead in the bottom of the second when Nick Harper banged a two-out double. Sioux Falls had been trailing 1-0, but Harper hit a first pitch curveball from Brenton Jenkins for a 2-run double.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Harper told the Sioux Falls News.
