Kingfishers Lose to Rocketeers, 10-7
Seattle and Pittsburgh duked it out at Pittsburgh Grounds and the Rocketeers came out victorious.

Axel Ruschmeyer helped his team muscle past the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 10-7. In the game, the Seattle shortstop was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Dave O'Neil got credit for the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 5 runs on 7 hits in 7.2 innings. Eugenio Piņeiro recorded his 3rd save for Seattle.

Seattle used the timely hitting of Yakamochi Ota to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rocketeers on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Ruschmeyer said.

Their 17-19 record puts the Rocketeers 6th in the Third League.
