Dodgers Fall Short, 10-9, at Las Vegas
|
Las Vegas withstood an impressive performance by Brooklyn right fielder Tony Wonder to defeat the Dodgers, 10-9, at The Strip. Wonder hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Las Vegas is now 14-18, Brooklyn 14-18.
Las Vegas shortstop Samual Kingman contributed to the cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. For the game, Kingman went 1 for 3 with a hit by pitch.
"Feels good to get the job done," Kingman said after the game.
