White Walkers Get Road Win, 4-2
|
With right fielder Jorge Herrera leading the charge, the Buffalo White Walkers defeated the Cleveland Browns, 4-2, at Factory of Sadness. Herrera, who finished 3rd in the PL in OPS with .991 in 2040, went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Buffalo is first in the Premier League with a record of 14-8.
Herrera contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Buffalo in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Herrera took a cutter from Hsiao-lou Lei and stroked the home run to right-center. His 9th home run of the season allowed the White Walkers to leap in front, 3-2.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Buffalo manager Chris Lau.
