|
The Hollywood Shredders defeated the Boston Patriots, 7-0, at Dunkin Donuts Park today. Leading the charge for Hollywood was left fielder Ramón Rodríguez. He was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The save was credited to Ismael Riddles, his 1st. With their winning streak at 5, the Shredders have raced to a strong start this season.
Mario Castillo took Aldo Ottens deep in the top of the first. His solo home run put the Shredders on top, 1-0. In all, Castillo had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Castillo.
