Pitcher of the Year Award Winner Announced Sunday, September 29th, 2041 The spotlight today is on Rob Bates of the Northwest Territory Beavers. He was named the top pitcher in the M3L Rookie and will be honored with the 2041 Pitcher of the Year Award. Bates compiled an impressive 11-4 won-lost mark to capture this year's honor. In 127.2 innings of work and 22 starts, the Beavers star struck out 162, while giving up 81 hits and 27 walks. He limited opposing batters to a .179 average. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 12. Josh Gentry of the Northwest Territory Beavers finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Mercedes Bvan of the Ballard Beavers finished third.
