The Shady Side third baseman finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 31. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Gabriel told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Ramón Gabriel struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
