Miller Gets 2-Game Suspension
Sunday, July 14th, 2041
Barry Miller has been penalized by the commissioner's office for his verbal and physical assault of an umpire. The shortstop unleashed his fury in protesting a third-strike call in yesterday's Ballard-Ogallala game at Nebraska Aquarium. And now he has to pay for it -- Miller has been suspended for 2 games for his unacceptable actions. The commissioner said in his statement that the league would have zero tolerance for any contact with an umpire, unintentional or otherwise.

For the season Miller has hit .232 with no home runs and 15 RBIs. He has played in 47 games and scored 12 times.
