Gabriel Batters Greenport Big Time Friday, July 5th, 2041 5 times is the charm -- at least for Ramón Gabriel. The Shady Side Zoomies third baseman tore up the Greenport Harbor Whales to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Terriers Ballpark today. The offensive onslaught from Gabriel powered the Zoomies to a 12-3 win. "Gabriel was a tough out today," Greenport manager Austin Brown said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Ramón Gabriel singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 7th.
