Dave Davis Lost for Season
Saturday, August 31st, 2041
Valley View starting pitcher Dave Davis could miss the remainder of the season because of a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. He exited yesterday's Quebec City game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Davis would be out 8 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

In 15 starts this season Davis has crafted a 8-5 record with a 2.67 ERA.
