20-Game Hitting Streak for Stuart Thursday, August 8th, 2041 Bailey Stuart's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Hudsonville. The 18-year-old center fielder extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 1-for-4 performance against the Franklin Fire. The Flanderses took the game, 2-1. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Bailey Stuart flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. Thus far in 2041 Stuart is hitting .350 with no home runs, 43 RBIs, 42 runs scored and has compiled a .378 OBP. |
