Taylor Crowned Top SR Hitter in July Thursday, August 1st, 2041 Irwin Taylor is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Capital Hill third baseman joined that select company when the USSL Rookie announced the results of July's voting. Taylor totaled 24 hits, 5 walks, 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and 14 runs scored last month to put together a .375 batting average and .431 on-base percentage. This season Taylor is batting at a .321 clip with 13 home runs and 53 RBIs. |
