Tulsa's Gracía Wins PR Most Valuable Player Award
Wednesday, September 25th, 2041
At the age of 19, Cisco Gracía of the Tulsa Otters could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2041 was good enough to win the center fielder the USPL Rookie Most Valuable Player Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .246 batting average this year, as well as a .345 on-base percentage. He played 94 games and racked up 85 hits, 23 doubles, 4 triples, 16 home runs, 56 RBIs and 54 runs scored.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Gabriel Ortíz of the Crowley Cajuns finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while George O'Rorke of the Memphis Music finished third.
