PR Gives Outstanding Pitcher Award Tuesday, September 24th, 2041 The USPL Rookie announced today that Ed Pearce has been chosen the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2041. The Indiana starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 7-3 record. In his award-winning season Pearce crafted a 1.39 ERA in 135.2 innings with 153 strikeouts and 36 walks. Opposing batters hit .209 against him in his 21 starts. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jack Croucher of the Long Island Ducks finished second in voting, while Jalmari Lostedt of the Long Island Ducks finished third.
