Best PR Hurler Chosen for 2040 Monday, September 24th, 2040 Finley Brinley was the most outstanding pitcher in the USPL Rookie this year and today was acclaimed the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for his efforts. Brinley had a marvelous season, going 10-4 with an impressive 1.69 ERA in 21 starts. He struck out 178 in 127.2 innings and limited opposing batters to a .194 batting average. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Damarco Lyons of the Hicksville Hounds finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Mike Hopkins of the Hicksville Hounds finished third.
