Otters López Sizzles with Cycle
Saturday, August 10th, 2041
It was a quite a day for António López at The Lead Mine.
He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is -- a single, double, triple and home run. The Tulsa center fielder accomplished the rare feat during his team's 9-7 victory over the Indiana Lead Sox.
"I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it," he told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference. "The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it's the win that's important."
López went 4-for-6 in the game with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored.
António López flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, hit an RBI triple in the 10th and hit a two-run home run off Carlos Hernández in the 11th.
Currently López has 1 home run and a .326 batting average.
