PAA Announces Player of the Week Monday, June 24th, 2041 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Fraser Childs of the Biloxi Shuckers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Childs rocked opposing pitching for a .464 average (13-for-28), no home runs and 1 RBIs to come away with the award. For the season Childs is currently batting .250 with 1 home run and 11 RBIs. In 42 games he has reached base at a .315 rate and scored 16 runs to date. |
