Best PAA Reliever Named Wednesday, October 9th, 2041 Manny Rodríguez was a calming influence out of the Westwood Sixshooters bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 24-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USPL Double A Reliever of the Year Award for 2041. The Tocumen, Panama native won the award with 22 saves in 44 relief appearances, 50 strikeouts in 52 innings and a record of 4-4 to go with his 1.90 ERA. He received 3 first place votes out of a possible 10. Lorenzo Encarnación of the Akron Blimps finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while César González of the Springfield Shooters finished third with 1 first place vote.
