Savinon Big Deal in Olympia: Hits for Cycle Tuesday, July 30th, 2041 Pepe Savinon truly did it all at Field of the Krewe today. The Olympia Ogres left fielder hit for the cycle -- collecting 2 singles, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- as he paced his club to victory, 12-7 over the Crescent City Krewe. "You know that sweet sound you hear when you hit the ball just right? I heard that every time today," Savinon said later. "It was a heck of a feeling." It was a game good enough for him to make a little history. He bombed Crescent City pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats and his name will now go into the record books. Savinon also racked up 5 RBI and 4 runs scored in the game. Pepe Savinon singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off José Rodríguez in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a three-run triple in the 8th.
