Northville Narrowly Wins Silver AA Wednesday, September 18th, 2041 Lance Farmer called it "one of the best parts of being a pro ballplayer." The Northville Eclipse starting pitcher was referring to winning a division title, as his club has just captured the Silver AA crown. "There's not many better feelings than winning a tight pennant race," he said. "We worked hard for it all year, have our record at 63-38 right now and feel we're in good shape for the postseason." It was the 3rd time the Eclipse have won the division. It may be a high for Farmer and his teammates, but there is certainly one better feeling he's now hoping for. "Winning the SL AA Championship," he said. "Nothing would top that." |
