Irving's Luoa SAA's Best Monday, August 19th, 2041 20-year-old Omar Luoa made a few Irving headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 17 at-bats to put up a .588 average. Luoa collected 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Looking at his present stats, Luoa has compiled a .310 batting average in 81 games with a .386 on-base percentage, while hitting 12 home runs and driving in 71 runs. |
