Sifuentes Wins SAA Player of the Week Honors Monday, July 29th, 2041 So far in his young career, Esteban Sifuentes has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Virginia Beach Whales right fielder hit at a torrid .438 clip as he collected 7 hits in 16 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Sifuentes is batting .321 this season in 67 games with 28 home runs, 80 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 84 hits in 262 at-bats. |
