Farmers End Dichio's Streak Sunday, July 28th, 2041 Raffaello Dichio of the Atlantic City Sonics came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 5 at-bats for the first time in 23 games. Making matters even worse for the catcher, Atlantic City dropped the game to the Lancaster Farmers 7-3. "It was not a good day today," Dichio told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." For the season Dichio has produced 27 hits in 83 at-bats for a .325 average with 1 home run and gotten on base at a .371 clip. |
