Padilla 3AA Selection for 2041 Outstanding Hitter Award Thursday, October 10th, 2041 Rafael Padilla took M3L Double A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 23. For his spectacular campaign, the Athletic Club KC Academy star has been named the 2041 M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder. On the season he compiled a .348 batting average to go with a .448 on-base percentage. The native of Mao, Dominican Republic also added 24 doubles, no triples, 13 home runs, 51 RBIs and 67 runs scored. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Luke Crawford of the Billings Polar Bears finished second in voting, while Wyatt Quick of the Marquette Miners finished third.
