Miners Neuvel and Pierogis Bruno Suspended for Fight Wednesday, September 18th, 2041 Kiril Neuvel of the Marquette Miners and Jesús Bruno of the Squirrel Hill Pierogis will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Miners-Pierogis game at Marquette Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Neuvel and Bruno will begin serving them soon. This year Neuvel is batting .231 with 7 home runs. To date this season Bruno has compiled a 6-6 record with a 3.66 ERA in 21 starts. |
