Coloma Batters Athletic Club KC Academy for 5 Hits Sunday, September 15th, 2041 It seemed that Providence first baseman Pancho Coloma could do no wrong as the Pilgrims KO'd the Athletic Club KC Academy, 10-9 today. Coloma rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Athletic Club KC Academy hurlers were throwing. "I think the Pilgrims were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Athletic Club KC Academy fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Coloma in the postgame press interview. Pancho Coloma singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
